| Micah
emerged from the ether vats of liquid time into New York City.
The first 20 years were spent amassing data and cultivating a
stream of impressions for purposes unknown. As a youth, certain
fascinations took hold of him in the forms of gawdy Kirby-era
comic books and bizarro sci-fi movies of the 50s and 60s that
were transmitted to him through a benevolent blast of pink light
.
In
his teens he started drawing, usually in comic book form. The
content of these works dwelled on a myriad of themes: cyclopean
dieties, sentient mucous and internal plumbing. He enrolled at
the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, where his focus
turned to painting.
Micah
lives and works in Brooklyn, New York -- the home of Public Sensory
Studios; where art and design go hand in hand to produce work
to encapsulate every need imaginable. The emphasis is on craft,
vision and capability.
